Core Governance Issues

The One Move One Change Movement shall seek the mandate of the people of Uganda to govern the country and work for the following core Governance issues:

National unity and reconciliation.

Sovereignty of the people.

Guarding Uganda’s national independence.

Dynamic, mixed economy with a strong social conscience.

Respect for human rights, constitutionalism and the rule of law.

Gender equality.

Zero tolerance for corrupt practices.

Lean and efficient public administration.

Strengthening of state institutions.

Respect for cultural diversity.

Equal access to quality public services, especially healthcare and education.

Eradication of poverty.

Economic, political and social cooperation with other nations and organisations.

WHAT IS ONE MOVE ONE CHANGE?

One Move One Change Movement is a revolutionary and liberation change movement in Uganda. We are a progressive, social independent movement, guided by the principles of servant leadership, equality, transparency, accountability, freedom, liberty and social justice.

The vision of this Movement is to put up change in the government of Uganda hence cohesive, Prosperous and Democratic Uganda all to empowers citizens, adheres to the rule of law, ensures dignity, and provides equal opportunities for all.

Our mission day by day is to rally the people of Uganda to exercise their power and build a free, united, prosperous and democratic Uganda.

LOCAL POLICY
​
1.Equitable and wider access to tertiary education
A move towards a free tertiary education for human capacity development for all to maintain or reduce tuition to affordable levels, involving stakeholders, through;
a) Stopping resource wastage
b) Stopping of political expediency and exploitation by reducing cost of administration
c) Scrapping the biased statehouse sponsorship
d) Making education more equitable,
2. Health
National quality (affordable) health services, including safer lifestyle and preventive health for all (NQHS). Insurance scheme and other forms of health care financing can be explored to deliver for this aspect. Emphasis is made on health as a commodity or as a marketable service in the region with the goal of gradually developing health services model to international standards.
